Nowadays, because of this fast-paced, competitive society, everyone is frustrated, stressed or depressed because of numerous issues. Even the students can’t escape from this issue. Before we come to know about the cause and solution of this frustration and depression in students, we should first know the difference between frustration, stress, and depression. So, according to psychology, frustration is a common emotional response to opposition, along with anger, annoyance, and disappointment. And stress is considered as the feeling of being overwhelmed or unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure. They also start getting away from their families as they feel they are relying on them for money and other basic needs.

Schools and colleges put a lot of pressure on students' minds. Teachers and parents have high expectations, but students bear a heavy burden. They have to compete with their own friends after getting compared.

Heavy Workload

Students are given a lot of homework, tasks, assignments, and projects in schools and colleges with a short deadline. This puts a huge pressure on them, the pressure of understanding things properly and completing them in the given period of time. As a result of this pressure, the students start getting frustrated. Whether it’s advanced-level classes or the amount of studying required, a heavy workload can be a major source of stress for students.

Poor Sleep Schedule

The student lifestyle has changed a lot since the old days because of the academic pressure and the heavy workload on students given by schools and colleges. Students who don't get enough sleep find it challenging to focus and study efficiently. According to research, students who don't get the recommended 8 to 10 hours of sleep each night are more likely to experience stress than those who do.

However, a lack of support from the same can cause frustration and weaken their mindset.
