Which section of mathematics does play an important role to qualify for the government exams?

There are two types of mathematics for government exams.
1. For competitive exams based on graduation, you need to prepare for advanced mathematicians of the 10th standard . This includes a higher number of questions. 
2. And for exams after the 12th, like NDA exams  you need to prepare for 12th standard mathetics at an advanced level.
