There are three papers in the Preliminary Examination, mainly questions are asked from English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, it is a total paper of 100 marks.
There are mainly five papers in the main exam, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General Knowledge & Banking Knowledge, English Language, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Letter-Writing. The time allotted for this exam is 5 hours.
Candidates who qualify the main exam are shortlisted for interview. Interview is the main and final stage of the exam. It is also called personality test. In the interview questions are asked to the candidate and through the interview, the eligibility of the candidate is assessed.
To get bank job, the candidate must have the following qualification: -

The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 30 years.

This is an officer post in the bank. After qualifying this exam, the candidate is selected for departments like Agriculture, Marketing, HR, Law Officer, IT.
The toughest examinations of RBI are for the post of Grade B Officer and Assistant.
